A Glimpse of NCF Projects
NCF Certificates
Quality Assurance and Quality Control
NCF is a pioneer in manufacturing and delivering sustainable products in this region.
NCF’s quality assurance program consists of an excellent quality plan through which entire quality control functions are managed for incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. The Quality Plan covers activities from sample collection and preparation for testing to applicable standards and specifications with acceptance criteria. NCF employs state-of-the-art technology and testing facilities for analyzing chemical parameters, especially minor constituents like alkalis and chlorides, as well as physical parameters to test raw materials to finished products according to the requirements of national and international standards.
NCF secures sustainable raw materials with consistent quality through reliable sources worldwide for its products. A highly qualified and dedicated team oversees Technical and Commercial L&S facilities. NCF’s products comply with BS EN and ASTM standards, and the company has been awarded the license by the Bureau of Indian Standards for exporting White Cement as per IS 8042:2015. NCF’s quality assurance program and products comply with ASME NQA-1 requirements, and its products are bagged under the DCL & ADQCC Product Conformity Certificates.
“NCF has set up its concrete lab, where finished products are tested beyond standard specification requirements to monitor their performance in terms of workability, compatibility with admixtures, and compressive strengths through conventional and alternate methods.”
All of these factors make NCF a pioneer in producing a wide range of products and special products with high-quality standards to fulfill customer requirements. NCF products are available in standard and flexible modes of packing with exclusive logistic functions to deliver products on time. NCF is the largest manufacturer of GGBFS with a 25% market share in the UAE.
“NCF is considered the preferred supplier by most consultants, allowing NCF to deliver its products to prestigious and iconic projects in the UAE, such as Barakha Nuclear Power Plant, Louvre Museum, Presidential Palace, Abrahamic House, and UAE Central Market, among others. NCF exports its GGBFS and White Composite cement to neighboring GCC and African countries.”
Baraka Nuclear Power Plant
The Baraka Nuclear Power Plant is the first facility of its kind to produce 4,000 MW of clean renewable energy in the MEENA region. NCF is the sole supplier of OPC and GGBFS for the core construction of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
“From 2011 until now, we have delivered 257,230 MT of OPC and 549,270 MT of GGBFS.”
How NCF Qualifies to Supply OPC & GGBFS to the Baraka Nuclear Power Plant Project?
NCF has adapted to meet the special requirements for BNPP, implementing improvements to ensure compliance.
Mill internal water spraying has been enhanced to achieve better control of the cement temperature, making it suitable for mass concrete. Cement and GGBFS temperatures are measured daily during dispatch.
All QC personnel are certified through internal proficiency tests. Regular chemical and physical testing of OPC and GGBFS is conducted under ASTM standards.
NCF’s Quality Assurance system and products comply with ASME NQA-1 requirements. Annual audits by competent HSJV team auditors recommend NCF as a “Qualified Supplier” without any non-conformance with Supplier Qualification and Evaluation & Registration (QAP005, REV. 16), with positive areas reported in each audit.
All laboratory equipment is calibrated by an accredited third party. Special provisions are in place against counterfeit, suspect, and fraudulent items (CFSI).
